Ras-Mohammed Reserve is a vast, natural aquarium teeming with life, home to approximately 150 species of coral and thousands of fish, including some of the rarest in the world. The coral reefs here are among the most remarkable in the Northern Hemisphere, rising above the surface, spreading out into vibrant underwater plateaus, and plunging dramatically into the depths—some cliffs reaching nearly 60 meters down!
This destination is celebrated for its exceptional underwater beauty and diverse marine life, making it a paradise for snorkelers, divers, and nature enthusiasts alike. A sea excursion to Ras-Mohammed is one of Egypt’s most thrilling experiences, offering an adventure into a world like no other.
Excursion program:
The excursion lasts all day, and part of the time will be spent on a spacious, pristine yacht. Your transfer will arrive at the hotel between 8:00 – 8:15 am (the exact time will be confirmed the day before the excursion). After that, we will head to the port, where we will check in (which takes about 20 – 30 minutes), board the yacht, and set off on our journey!
Throughout the excursion, there will be three stops—two for snorkeling and diving, and one for a walk on White Island. The first two stops are for snorkeling in the Ras-Mohammed Reserve, where you can immerse yourself in the underwater world that the reserve is famous for, boasting stunning coral reefs. This area is the pride and jewel of the Red Sea, with a rich diversity of marine life that is truly breathtaking. The seabed is clearly visible even at a depth of 50 meters!
For diving enthusiasts, there is a unique opportunity to dive with aqualungs under the guidance of professional instructors. Before diving, you will receive a thorough briefing. Even if you’ve never dived before or don’t know how to swim, there’s no need to worry; you’ll be in the capable hands of experts! Equipment for diving is included in the price, but the actual dive incurs an additional fee ($15 for one dive, $30 for two). Each dive lasts about 10-12 minutes.
Another stop will be a visit to White Island. This incredibly beautiful location offers white sandy beaches where you can take leisurely strolls and capture stunning photographs.
Onboard the yacht, a delicious lunch awaits you, and soft drinks are included in the price.
We will return to the hotel by 5:00 pm.
