Despite being nearly five thousand years old, the Egyptian pyramids have remarkably stood the test of time, retaining their grandeur to this day. Until the late 19th century, they were the tallest structures in the world, holding that title until the Eiffel Tower was constructed in France. Among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the only one that has remained intact.
The Great Pyramid, also known as the Pyramid of Cheops, originally stood at an impressive height of 150 meters, with each side of its base measuring 230 meters. Weighing over six million tons, the sheer scale of this structure is awe-inspiring, making it clear why it is considered the first of the Seven Wonders.

The museum is bright, spacious, and extremely comfortable for visitors, and the colossal statue of Ramses II greeting guests at the entrance leaves an unforgettable impression.
More than 100,000 artifacts are displayed here — the world’s largest collection of Ancient Egypt — a place worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.
