Ras-Mohammed by bus

You will embark on an incredible journey to Ras-Mohammed Nature Reserve, Egypt's first national park. Nestled in the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula, just 25 kilometers southwest of Sharm El Sheikh, this stunning reserve lies between the Suez and Aqaba gulfs of the Red Sea. Here, you’ll experience breathtaking landscapes, vibrant marine life, and unique ecosystems that make Ras-Mohammed a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Ras-Mohammed Nature Reserve is one of the most beautiful and picturesque locations in the entire Red Sea, and its southern region is recognized as one of the ten best snorkeling beaches in the world. This reserve is a true oasis for nature and ecology enthusiasts. The underwater world is so breathtakingly beautiful and rich that words can hardly capture it.

Here, you’ll encounter an incredible diversity of flora and fauna, including more than 150 species of corals that are over 2 billion years old, along with thousands of fish species. You may also spot foxes, gazelles, reptiles, exotic birds, and the stunning mangrove trees that inhabit this unique ecosystem.

We highly recommend this excursion as a must-see for anyone visiting Egypt for the first time. As our guides say, “If you haven’t been to Ras-Mohammed, you haven’t experienced the underwater world of the Red Sea.” We wholeheartedly agree, as the stunning beauty of the Red Sea is sure to amaze even the most discerning traveler!

Excursion program:

The excursion to Ras-Mohammed Nature Reserve is conducted by bus and accompanied by an English-speaking guide. Departure from the hotel is scheduled for 8:30 am (we will confirm the exact time the day before the excursion). The journey to the reserve takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on the location of your hotel.
  • First Stop: Barracuda Bay. This stunning bay features incredibly vibrant, colorful waters. On the left side, you’ll find small campsites and the beautiful Mars Break reef, perfect for capturing memorable photos.

  • Second Stop: Gate of Allah. This original structure made of stone blocks marks the entrance to Ras-Mohammed National Nature Reserve. The Gate of Allah serves as a monument dedicated to the arrival of peace.

  • Next, we’ll head to the beach for an hour of snorkeling, where you can explore the vibrant underwater world. The reefs in this reserve are among the most beautiful, and you may encounter turtles and various fish species that you’ve never seen before in the Red Sea.

  • Visit to the Mangroves. You’ll discover the unique mangrove trees, which thrive on salt water and have the remarkable ability to “filter” the salt from sea water. These are the only plants in the world capable of desalinating water.

  • Geological Faults. You will also observe geological faults in the earth, formed as a result of earthquakes.

  • Stop at the Lake of Desires. This magical site, also known as Magic Bay, is a true natural wonder. The water here has a composition similar to that of the Dead Sea and boasts healing properties.

You will return to the hotel around 2:00 pm.

Additionally, we offer a yacht excursion to Ras-Mohammed and the White Island for those seeking a different experience!
